Michal Činčiala, born in 1973, is a freelance translator specializing in highly technical medical and technical texts.

He participated in triathlon events from 2009 to 2012, after which he shifted his focus primarily to ultramarathons. His first major achievements include completing the Spartathlon in 2017 and finishing 11th among men (16th overall) at the 2016 Ultrabalaton. He also takes great pride in finishing one of the toughest triathlons in the world, the Norwegian Norseman Xtreme Triathlon, in 2012, as well as the challenging 285 km Ultra Milano Sanremo ultramarathon.

His biggest challenge and most cherished accomplishment to date is completing the Royal Trail, Kungsleden, a 450 km trek through Swedish Lapland. Noteworthy performances also include finishing the Moab 240 Endurance Run in 2022, the Bigfoot 200 Mile Endurance Run in 2019, and the Ultra Gobi 400 desert adventure in 2018, where he placed 10th overall. Additionally, he finished the iconic Badwater 135 ultramarathon in 37th place overall.
